Friday 5th October 2018: Cork County Council have issued a request for tenders to complete a traffic capacity upgrade to the Little Island Interchange. These works are expected to be completed in Q2 2019 and will aid the upgrade of the nearby Dunkettle Interchange

Monday 1st October 2018: To facilitate the upgrade of Dunkettle Interchange, works have commenced at the Silversprings Interchange to reduce congestion. Works are expected to be substantially complete by Christmas.

The upgrade of the Dunkettle Interchange has been in the planning phase for the last number of years and the good news now is that a contractor has been appointed and the works are due to commence in spring 2019.
